"A new" here hopefully not meaning "second one" meaning "one more apart form Austria-OE-Treaty of Vienna" situation, because noone there accused anyone of anything, we were only making things more clear to each other

France did not ally saxony untill austria had betrayed all its promises, and saxony begged for help since he thought austria was going to annex him.
Sultan of Rome decided it's worth some more time and money if the result could be bishop of Rome leaving city of Rome. So for now Ottoman Empire will not ask land from Venice. The Doge has ONE MORE chance.
But if something like that happens, I hope Homerus will find a country to rule. He was such a great addition to our game...

Yes, that was simply a lie by Damocles. The first thing he did was annex the Palatinate and the second tell me that I won't get any provinces. I asked him first, and when I was utterly ignored or told I'm not getting the provinces, I decided I should look for an alternative to supporting Austria - while my first choice would still have been alliance with Austria if he had just honoured the agreement. Since there was no clear answer from Austria, I asked multiple times, always was told I already had a reply - which I did not, and insisted further. Then he insulted me, like he btw already did when playing Brandenburg and I was making a stupid, but understandable mistake: while I was still fighting and already had stagged up war exhaustion, he decided to attack Mecklenburg without even bothering to ask me about it - be it because he's rude, because he doesn't like me, because he forgot it or because he considers me the noob I surely am. War took me long, WE was horrible and, having annexed two countries, I knew I would be getting dows of opportunity if I don't get out of war. Therefore, I was quite glad when Mecklenburg's offer of peace for 25 ducats gave me an opportunity to get out of a war I hadn't wanted, hadn't been informed about and didn't care for, and simply forgot I was alliance leader in a war I was not in any way involved in, as described. This was of course not too intelligent, and I tried to compensate for that by sacrificing the 5 stab and starting that war again, however I don't think Damocles' reaction - everybody read it - was necessary that way, and if I hadn't been so embarassed because of my stupidity, I would probably then have refused to play any further with this guy.
When he now even tries to put it as if I was responsible, this makes me doubt whether I will bother voluntarily spending my free, gaming time with people like him.
I'm sorry for making this personal, but I simply don't like and will not accept getting insulted, ignored and looked down on, I hate people lying about me and breaking agreements the way it was done here and I especially don't like the way he is playing Austria which practically ruined the game for me (only a personal opinion, everybody shall have his playing style).
Of course I do realise that Damo is a much better, more accomplished and more popular player than I am and that I'm prolly being an overly sensitive, whining idiot.

I understand you Twoflower, this is a campaign for grown-ups and insults are *not* tolerated. I have played many long hours of EU2 MP and 99% of the time the players (many of them play here) have been as polite as you could ask for. Let's keep up this nice standard. You can expect people to play on, be punctual, and make a fun game for all, even if they are losing, but surely not if they are insulted. Then the hours spent get a sour taste and this permanent player-diplomatic kind of campaign start to disintegrate, and eventually stop.

Well, my sole goal in the game now is to prove that the way gold inflation works in the game is just a bit silly. We have good hopes of succeeding too. However the fact that my nation will be doomed by that time puts a bit of a downer on our hopes

Maybe the Inca annexation should have taken a bit longer time? That way inflation wouldn't have been so bad for Spain.

Well, as a party in an agreement I can make my "contribution" here. In my rage and fury yesterday I forgot to send 5 merchabts to nice new Cuzco CoT, on which I have every right under ToV - I will correct this ASAP

I also didn't ignore you, I answered several times. I know Archduke will remember that I said, we would eventually split the provinces up, but not at the moment, but in 10-20 years after the tense situation with France was over. But frankly, I didn't trust you. I was 99% sure you were talking with France behind my back, since he had approached Brandenburg too.
P.S BiB, I remember something about the deal we made regarding the Lowlands being conditional over whether your italian ambitions were realized
In fact, Archduke will remember that I *apologized* to both of you for having been curt with my responses due to how busy I had been, but that in 20 years at the MOST, we would start dividing up the provinces fairly. Though, you lost all sympathy when I saw that Saxony was already in the French alliance without my realizing it. Thats some quick negotiations there, which leads me to suspect I was right about deducing something tricky going on from the very beginning.
I am not a deliberately brash person. I treat the vast majority of my fellow community with a modicum of respect and honor. But I just tend to not make the effort if I suspect traitorous intentions.

If u care to read the ToV in detail it stipulates "Austria and Spain will allow Ottoman Empire 5 traders in every centre of trade owned by them in 1522 ". That does NOT include Cuzco. Doing so anyway will be at ur own peril
