Venice Sells her Eastern Seaboard to England
Upon Spanish repeated requests for the explanation of the purpose of Venetian trading posts on the North American eastern seaboard, Venice accepted the fact that she was not rich enough to colonize the area herself, especially not now, faced with the Ottoman aggression in Mediterranean. Therefore it was decided to honor Spanish and Popes wishes and sell five Venetian trading posts to Spanish ally England.
