Despose liege war won but I lost the primary tittle to the deposed liege.

I was a count vassal under Republic of Genoa. I own several counties in and around the former kingdom of Aragon. Genoa at one point conquered most of duchy of Barcelona and usurped the tittle so I immidiatly swore fealty to Genoa so I would not get over run by the muslims so easilly. At one point the doge of Genoa was excommunicated and several other rulers declared excommunication war against the doge. I decided that I wanted to despose the liege to see what happens and started that war. So the excommunication wars ended by the doge losing and so Genoa got a new doge. I was still in war with this new doge and eventually won the war installing yet another new doge to the throne of Genoa. To my suprise when that happened to old doge somehow took my main capital county for himself and now was a count under the new doge. This clearly was somehow bugged as he should have never took my county that he had no rights in the first place after a war he lost.

You don't happen to have a save game of this? I was trying to reproduce it but was unfortunately unable to do so in my first attempts.

I have to check as I'm not sure. Should have copied the last autosave after it happened. No don't have a save during the war. If I run into this again I will make sure I copy the save.

It was most likely some odd fluke with the several excommunication wars going on the same time I was warring for desposing the liege and when the liege changed as the excommunication war was won I was left to fight the new liege so I could despose him who I didn't even want to despose.
