Desperatley need cheat codes please

I am unable to continue playing EU3 at the moment. I am sick to death of being gang-banged by half of Europe when all I'm trying to do is mind my own business. Currently I have about twenty AI nations declaring war on me, due to just one nation (France as usual) DoWing me plus all of its alliances and its allies extended alliances. The AI is uber aggressive and I cannot continue - it is totally ruining my enjoyment of the game.

Need the code to force the AI to make peace please.

Best cheat code is very easy mode with non aggressive and non historical lucky nations. Or try a different country.

You don't need codes to make this happen although it is cheating.

Save the game. Load as France. Have France send a peace offer to you. Save the game. Load as your nation. Accept peace offer.

Playing as England on easy with low aggressiveness. Mi Infamy is 5 or 6 but i still own Calais and can't get rid of it! Even France won't have it off me unless they're demaning all my money and my releasing English provinces too (Cornwall, Northumberland) Non stop DoWs received from the AI. I just had a 21,000 strong army (16k cav, 5k inf) full org and with leader (Isaac Rook ?) wiped out by a 6,000 strong Aragonese army on my home soil. This game couldn't be anymore maddening. I have no manpower left to raise any regiments and France, Aragon, Brittany, Scotland, Portugal et all are camped in sieges all over England - I quit.

What expansions are you playing with (if any)?

In a DW Grand Campaign start, at least, there's a very easy way to get rid of your Continental burdens peacefully if you don't want to try defending them: use the Sell Province diplomacy option to sell Calais to Burgundy and Gascogne to France, and maybe give Labourd to Navarra for free, on the first day of the game.

When you say your land was this your land on the mainland or in England proper? Because your fleets should have intercepted it.

Anyway, they will continue to DOW you because you have their core. So sell it off is good advice if you don't want to fight.

Finally, my guess as to why you lost that fight is your morale wasn't full before you engaged. Always make sure you have full morale or you risk losing the whole army.

If you really want to make sure France won't bother you again; tag change, take out max loans, type "event 3081" a few times (state bankruptcy), then type "infamy 1000." That would basically be giving them death insurance.

Okay, I loaded as France and offered white peace to England - I couldn't resist deleting France's navy before checking back out and reloading as England o. My game though was already doomed. Rebels immediately started popping up, including a pretender army in Cornwall. With no army of my own left to defend my realm I couldn't bash the rebels. I put the game on fast forward. Cornwall took everything except Northumberland and London but at this point the game had moved on long enough for my truce to expire - France Dowed me again.

This game could do with a decent You Have Been Defeated screen - because instead all that happens is you get automatically kicked out of the game to the resign screen when your last province is taken.

I thought England is meant to be an easy game. This was my fourth atempt at playing them - and I got owned by Cornwall!!!

(1) Keep your stability high.
(2) Do not overstack your armies
(3) Keep your war exhaustion low.
(4) Always leave a reserve army (5000+) in England.

As a beginner, you might want to give up your French possessions to avoid continual wars with them.
You can sell provinces via Diplomacy when not at war (near the bottom of the list, scroll down). You can also offer peace during war and try to cede some provinces. But be aware that the AI wil usually not negotiate during the first few months and it will only accept offers in its interest (so no offering a dozen non-core provinces).
You can also give up your core claims on French provinces - this will remove the prestige penalty for "uncontested claims"

When at war with France, you can usually stall them: Let them take your continental holdings and defend your island instead. Be wary of Scotland - they are quite dangerous during the early game, esp. in Divine Wind.

Always - ALWAYS - have an army. If you should lose all your soldier, the AI will notice you are an easy target and DOW you. NEVER, EVER lose all your armed forces. Always have a reserve!

Remember, now you can hunt rebels, and if you control the straits, your troops will walk across your transport ships hands-free. It's awesome having a revolt in Meath and troops in Normandy that dispatch automatically.

Really? When I instruct troops to cross the strait with my ships in it they seem to load up on the ship but don't continue on - I have to explicitly order them off the ship...

The 'hunt rebel' command makes troops move automatically, thus also on and off ships.

They have to be set to "hunt rebels", and then they will cross automatically. I don't think you can do it manually.

The backtick ` key ONLY works in Divine Wind; § (or Alt-21) works in all versions.
