Hello,
Recently ive been having some real troubles around my city. (TL: DR at the end if youre lazy)
After building a new district, many of the shops in the older districts complained about not having enough goods. In response, I built a really large industrial district, with 2 cargo harbors and a cargo train station. However - it didnt solve the problem. Its important to note that the industrial district was seperated from the other parts of the city, nevertheless - traffic was flowing and there were no jams or standing cars, so there wasnt a problem for trucks to reach the other parts of the city. The issue grew more and more severe, stores all over the city started closing. In response I bulit four other industrial districts, each in a different part of the city, all connected to the main highways, this time closer to the commercial zones. But the shops were still complaining about not enough goods. I added 3 more cargo train stations - nothing changed, more than half of my commercial buildings gone. And now the industrial building started complaining about not having enough buyers for products, and started closing as well.
So now i have tons of factories saying there arnt enough buyers for thier products, and tons of commercial complaining about not having enough good to sell. I dont know what els to do. (btw there are enough workers for both - unemployment rates gone from 4% to 21% (all are well/high educated) after things started to get abandoned, and all my demands are 0 right now). Please, if you have an advice, help me cure my city!! :(

TL: DR - Commercials started complaining about not enough goods to sell, I built lots of industry, and now stores keep complaining about not enough goods and industry complain about not having enough buyers for products, and everything is getting abandoned. No traffic problems, no workers shortage. help plx :X
THANKS!

Are you using any mod? Have you saved your city with some mod active? Some mod changes the behaviour of the vanilla game in a way that you cannot recover even if you disabled the mods.

If you never used any mod I don't know how to answer you: how many cims your city have? Do you have a public transport network? Have you built some monument (monuments change the behaviour of some services)?

Hey, thanks for the response. Yes, i do use mods, but nothing to serious (like darker roads, or the public transport UI, auto bulldoze and such). I will try to delete unnecessary mods, would it help?
I have ~170k cims, and a very widespread public transport system.

Had the same problems. In vanilla and in a game with mods. Never know how to respond. Everything is a bad circle. Too much education -> not enough workers, not enough goods, nothing to sale -> commercial brakes down

Try to remove unneeded mods. I use only Extended Transport UI atm. Auto buldoze have a small problem when it auto buldoze burnt service buildings and not notifying it to the service managers (at least, it happens with train stations, in a case i had trains stopping in middle of nowhere as it there was a station, but it was buldozed, they even moved without the railway, but most probably it happens with other too). Use auto buldozer only for abandoned buildings.

Another test you can make is to check how much generic industry you have. If it's too low, compared to specialized industries and commercials, you can have such problems. Consider the generic industries as manufacturers, so they are a middle point in between specced industries and commercials.

There's no more stuff jumping in my mind atm.
