I was playing the WW1 mod and conquered the entire Africa and saved Ottoman's virginity, Austria killed the Russian Empire and Soviet popped out and started the civil war.

Everything is fine, meanwhile Italy capitulated, and I steamroll the southern French border, forcing them to waste their manpower. Until... "United States has joined the war"



I fucking deleted my save.

playing ussr dont do purge let civil war begin becouse i gonna do so good divisions that it is easy beat..
civil war begins and i notice that im in war with my new divisions not division from last game what i was w8ing for.. its just AI i gonna win this fast.. after year and many saves --->quit

While trying for the "Bearer of Artillery" I had this cute idea to - before war broke out - move a number of Poland's units out of the country, thinking I could make a significant contribution to the war, only to learn that despite all the new lend-lease features, without a national capital, the Allies could not send me anything. My units quickly lost org and withered till I disbanded enough to regroup a few of them. After that, it was nothing but garrison duty, because even if I had units, having "done nothing" for three years, the AI scoffed at my territorial requests [I thought maybe some factories might help....]. Nonetheless, I got the achievement. Made sure Iran fell to the Allies before the Soviets got into it, then waited for Italy to get occupied, and moved what was left there. But still... I really felt stupid about not realizing that, without a capitol, even as a GiE, I was pretty much useless till liberated.
