Funny. Works for my (read it as "the game loads fine"). Maybe the problem is caused by the 2 "event =" in the trigger. Try with this:I am working on a mod and as usual, there are problems with my events. However this one is a tough nut to crack. Any help would be appreciated. The game says "Error: Unknown ih: unrecognized command "days = 150"" or something similar.

No, I added that. But yea, the description seems a little too long. Maybe if you removed it entirely... Just to see if is the problem.Could be the linebreak in the desc!
Descriptions can be a maximum of 511 characters long, as far as i recall. So the limit should not be a problem here.No, I added that. But yea, the description seems a little too long. Maybe if you removed it entirely... Just to see if is the problem.
That, or you forgot to add a "save_date = yes" in the event 2006008.
Hi,
can you help with this event? It fires fine but the flag is changed to some blue squares instead of the imperial german one!
name = "Revert to the old Imperial flag"
desc = "With the restoration of the monarchy, traditionalists have suggested that we should return to the old Imperial German flag, the Schwarze, Weiss, Rot. What should we do?"

command = { type = dissent value = -1 }
command = { type = domestic which = freedom value = -1 }
}
}
Added shield_ger_U08 pic to shields folder and flag_ger_U08 and icon_ger_U08 to flags folder.Have you a flag/shield named "shield_ger_u08.bmp" inside your gfx/map folders?
Let me explain what the command "flagext" does.Added shield_ger_U08 pic to shields folder and flag_ger_U08 and icon_ger_U08 to flags folder.
Didn't change event and now it causes the flag to change to the nazi one!
changed the event to which = "shield_ger_U08" and it changed it to the blue squares agains!
changed event again, to which = "flag_ger_U08" and did the blue squares again!
Even doing this, i still can't get it to work! i'll keep trying, thanks for the help!Let me explain what the command "flagext" does.
It adds an extension to the shield/flag/counter TAG .BMP file.
When you write:
type = flag_ext where = GER which = "U08"
you're saying: "now GER (nazi Germany) won't have the normal flag, it will change the flag to that one in the the file named shield_gerU08. (Ps.: sorry, I said "ger_U08" before 'cause we usually name the extensions as "_u08" or something).
So, it's probably a quest of name the file correctly...
