Depression (still) doesn't make infertile

Playing as count of Salerno/duke of Sardinia, I married to a de Hauteville girl who was depressed but which didn't lead to infertile.

Thise pregnancy brought a daughter and she is currently pregnant again.

My ruler, the husband is a country cousin, so his fertility stats shouldn't be super

Depression should lead to -50 fertility

Same reason why Leper didn't make for infertility; fertility modifiers don't work (properly).

Somehow it seems to me that a fertility of -X is not counted as 0 by the engine and so the person can get kids.

It's "depression", not "stressed", that is the subject here.

No, Byakh, by all means dont!

It IS realistic if it happens every now and then that a depressed person gets a child.
After all, quite some medieval men resorted to rape even with their wifes if they'd refuse to have sex.
Also, a male person with high fertility, but depression, still can impregnate the woman if she really wants to.
One if the details might be alcohol, the others would probably be improper to tell here.

If it isn't going to be fixed and I my opinion it really isn't bugged then only change the tooltip, it says it leeds to inferility.

Yes, the tooltip should be changed to something like 'very low fertility' or 'seriously affects fertility'.

Actually, do we know that depression lowers the fertility? If not we should change the tooltip only after tests how much it does. But I agree that it shouldn't lead to infertility.

so women with LOW fertility (since we dont have NO) should get stressed/depressed more often
