Was just wondering if deployment of troops is going to be notably different from HoI III or not. I always hated how we had to have land connected directly to our capital if we wanted to deploy on it, as it held back island nations immensely (Britain could not deploy anywhere in Europe, for example). Was just wondering if it's still going to be the same in IV or if it has changed notably in some way?

It shouldn't hold you back too much if you have a decent amount of transport ships, it would be nice if it was automated so that you can choose routes for transport ships to follow and then use the deploy and then select where you want them to move and they automatically use the pre set-up ships to get there if its not connected by land.

We already saw that you can choose where to deploy and where they move post-deployment in WWW maybe having them automatically use boats when the destination isn't accessible by land would be a good idea.

units will automatically move to the front to which you assign them

they even will automatically use strategic deployment and transport ships
