Chuck Norris does not exist in this timeline. The American psyche that created him doesn't exist

Chuck Norris transcends all universes, including fictional ones that appear in gaming forums. Thats how awesome he is.

1964. Same spirit as 1984 for those who have read it *cough* read it Firestorm *cough* B! B! B! B!.

In my opinion 1984 is the most overrated book of all times. But 1964 is a good title, yes.

I like 1964, too. Or write it out as "Nineteen-Sixty-Four", to make it even more obvious.

"Last one alive please turn off the lights" - I saw that line yesterday in Children of Men and for some reason was instantly reminded of your AAR. :D

How does AoD handle the production of nukes, by the way? Is the rate of production the same or will there be an increase of doomsday attacks?

There is no or very little humor in this world only death.

I imagine the philological toll even for those in Germany will be immense. Most have always been at war and it looks like it will continue that way.

Naah, it's not that bad. No matter how war-torn a country is, people will always find time to laugh. Just don't expect the same people or even the same genre of films to be sucessfull.
Since most of the world ist still at war, I'd expect a lot of propaganda films in this time period, mixed with light entertainment pieces without much artistic value. ;)

Since Nazi Germany's film industry was practically an extended arm of the government, nothing much of lasting value can be expected to be produced there either (though some works were impressive at the time, their aestethic value is overshadowed by always conforming to Nazi ideals).

Europe is at peace at least and the Nazi party seems to have lost some of its power to the new military-led government, which perhaps is trying to reduce Nazi influence on society. After all, the nation is now led by Prussian aristocrats who despised the Nazi movement at least as much as they despised the idea of democracy.
Ending Nazi control over film making is surely one of the most beneficial steps to stop the spread of their ideology, so perhaps the German film industry has been returned into civilian hands.

Depending on how much freedom the film industry enjoys in the German puppet states, I'd think that either France or perhaps Italy might emerge as the world's leading film producer with the most international significance in the '60s.

I doubt there is much resistance left in Deutsch-Ukraine; a people can only fight for so long. The huge flow of unwilling German colonists combined with what would be extremely intense Germanization efforts would add extra punch to the counter-insurgency efforts.

Well, that what I would think would happen. What is the ingame situation of Grossdeutschland?

Check the AAR link in my sig, USSR and PRC GC to paint the world red/orange. It's only at late '39 though, so we haven't had the chance to get truly prison-bitch'd like firestorm has.

No partisans or wide-spread rebellion, if that is what you are asking.

As this AAR starts in '41, tell me how it goes :p

Been working on my final projects, so I will be updating today (I missed yesterday). When will the update come? Within 12h. (I know, long time frame, but I have to head to school to finish off another project)

ill check that aar out. thanks.

and you really should script some events a minor war somewhere. like 2 minor axis states break away from the axis and get into a war. then the soviets choose a side and send aid. germany responds by bringing the other one back into the axis. eventually it can develop into another war.

or alternatly you could script the revolt of india and pakistan from the soviets and you could get them to join your alliance. that would help you tremendously. and it would be realistic as they really wanted to get away from britain and the soviets probably treat them ALOT worse. also some breakaway african nations could trouble the axis a bit and weaken them. maybe they could align with the soviets and that can be your excuse for war bewteen them.

Don't do that. What I like, and I think others too, is that this is a fair one on one fight between the AI and human. And what makes this AAR unique is that the human player is facing tremendous odds that there's a huge chance of him losing. This creates suspense that's lacking in a lot of AARs where the human player just steamrolls the AIs. I think its perfect the way it is now.

You really could do a bit more work on Germany. Y war and the AI owning you is cool and everything, but we need more axis power here (Even if its only a made up story- like Hitler having a son, colonization and stuff ).

um i think hitler died awhile ago. and he does do worl updates here and there. but asia is more important right now.
