Has anyone else encountered problems with the "delete_unit" command? I've created an event with the intention of making Carlist Spain lose its units before being inherited by Spain... I don't want Spain having a far too large army. I know the triggers, etc... for the event work... and other actions that I have put in work... but the "delete_unit" command just seems to get ignored?

I've seen this command used in other files for demobilising the losing powers after WW1, but I'm not sure if they work either?

Has anyone else noticed this problem? Or does anyone know how to fix it at all??

How are you using it exactly? Based on how it worked in HoI, I think it only works on units created after the game starts (type = 4712), not those defined in the scenario files with other 'types'.

Well I just use it with random units being deleted "-1" or "-2" or "-3". If it only affects new units built then I'll give that a go then in one of my games.

Thanks for the suggestion... I've been waiting for someone respond with a possible solution! Will let you know

EDIT: Sorry, still haven't checked yet... will get back with a definitive answer shortly.
