This demo is kicking up the game to be a fantastic experience. For those who aren't capable of downloading/playing it yet:
The demo consists of four playable nations (starting at the dawn of the discovery of the new world); Venice, the Ottomans, Portugal and Austria. I'm guessing they chose these four specifically so you can try all of the game's mechanics, such as Venice's trade, Portugal's colonisation, Austria's HRE and the Ottoman's... stuff.... (not entirely sure to be honest, maybe because they're Muslim? Or maybe I'm not aware of something..).
Austria kicks you off with the Flemmish Revolution and quite a few HRE related problems, such as HRE cores being outside of the Imperial domain and quite a few of the electors not liking you.
Venice starts with trade being the focus, holding several merchants within their primary trading locations.
Portugal begins with an explorer and a conquistador, allowing you to instantly make your quest for the new world and not long after, you can upgrade your ideas to garner colonialists.
The Ottomans starts off at the top of their game, giving you a taste of being one of the larger nations.
Overall, the game is great. Just remember, advisors are far more expensive in comparison to their price in EU3... I learnt that the hard way due to my ignorance xD To anyone who has yet to get the demo, GET IT! And if you have hesitant friends, tell them to download it. It'll surely convince them. And most important; massive thanks to Paradox! This game is fixing to be exactly as expected, and possibly beyond.
