Edit: what I'm trying to say here, is that the demo will probably not live up to your expectations. It will be a good indicator of the game's performance and perhaps a learning tool. $0.02

You have no idea how right you have but you are talking to the most frustrated hardcore fans PI have so even the slightest hint set these people into a estatic trance.

I think I will feed my offspring and then head out and try to burn some of his energy.

I hope it will run a lot smoother that hoi3 and more like EU3. Even with all the flaws that hoi3 has I like the game and would play it a lot were it not for the slow speed. Up to 1940 it's ok but after that it becomes too slow for me to endure it. EU3 on the other hand slows down a litte after 200-300 years but it still pretty much without delays when clicking icons.

That being said I'm desperatly waiting for V2 and a demo in which I can try the game before Sunday when I get home.

Well, learning tool is exactly what I expect so.... it would be up to my expectations

you do know there is a secret forum achievement: do not ask about demo more than 3 times, right? you have to complete this achievement in order to play the demo.

This Just gets better and Better, In My time zone this is a midnight release for Vicky 2, and now I get a demo too? This is everything ive ever wanted, except a few billion dollars, a BMW 507, A Plantation home in South Carolina, and will someone bring me Every US Politicians Goddam Head on a Platter?!

I think the POP's and their automation will help make up for that
Worth it though
