Would love for the demo to be Scotland since it gives a good oversight into all new mechanics.
Yeah if only to prove to me it's not actually broken as it was in Quill's game.
Dont temp them, August 1st.
dont temp them, august 1st.
where does this date come from?? Tell me!!111!!
Agreed, plus the fact that they have to juggle so many things would be a good way to learn the game. They have to have a strong army to keep the English out, a relatively strong fleet to protect themselves from others, good trade to offset their poor tax... so ideal place to start learning.![]()
I don't think that's exactly right. AFAIK it's just that the war leader can't change X months into the war, but it will still cascade within that time frame.
Do you really think there will be a Demo? If I had to guess there won't be one until after release, and even then it's unlikely.
Do game developers still release demos?
Developers still release demos, yes. It seems like it's the norm for grand strategy games.
CK2 has a demo (but I don't know if it was released before the game) as well as Civilization and every Total War game including the most recent one (and I'm almost sure Shogun 2's demo was released before the full game).
Oh please - It'll be playing a minor nation with the inevitable result of being annexed by AI England as soon as their wars with Ireland and France end. If there's a decision and mission to unite the UK, the AI is sure to go for it with everything they've got.
From the same sorce, CK2 came out 10 days earlier:
A demo was released on February 4, 2012
Release date(s) Microsoft Windows
