Ottomans Anyone? They're perfect to show EU:IV in almost every aspect, religion, Warfare, Technology, Overextension, Cascading alliances, Missions, kinda Trade.

I hope theres that "feature" from the CK2 demo where you could quickly click on another person before the game started and play as them xD
If it is locked to one nation I would bet a big boy as well. The demo is put in place to attract new customers (not reward the old) so making it a relatively "easy" nation to play will probably be the priority.
If it isn't locked to one nation, I hope it is 20-25 years, enough time to tech up once or twice and see how all the mechanics work. Reward the the old players!

Would it be like the the eu3 demo only western nations playable for a set period of time
I imagine it would be similar to the way that the CK2 demo worked. There will probably be a couple countries to choose from (in ck2 I think it was four) and there will be a timeline of maybe 20 years. That's just my guess though
How do Ottomans over-extend again with their cheaper and faster cores...

I strongly suspect you are right. The largest gaming market for these games would the be US, and they'd probably relate more to England in this time period than any other nation. 20 years of England or France would be pretty fun.
At least, that would be fun for veterans, but probably the worst way to attract newbies...
Castille is very better for that, because you may begin colonization, may win an easy war, may deal with a vassal and create alliances, may use missionaries...
And I bet for one country in HRE, to permit seeing the HRE mechanism.
Would love for the demo to be Scotland since it gives a good oversight into all new mechanics.

You're not going to be colonizing within twenty years of 1444 - You're far too busy with Aragon and acually getting the tech and ideas to even begin exploration.
Nothing aside from making assumptions on PDS trends.
They tend to put out demos a short time before release. I'm hoping that's the 1st of August.
