So first : I do I raise/decrease taxes?
Second : Why Portugal doesn't have a trade node in Lisbon
Third : Why is Castille able to form Spain without Aragon?
Finally... Is there a way to "automate" technology researching so you don't have to click on a technology each time (why they made the sliders disapear?? :s)
Thanks!

F***ing hell, the internet ate up my long response. This will be much shorter, sorry.

Tech, buildings, ideas, and national decisions can increase your tax income, but you can't increase and decrease it at a whim.

Trade nodes go to important waterways more often than important cities, and there can only be so many per region. Portugal can make plenty of money from the Gibraltar node anyway.

Paradox might intend for Aragon to stick around longer than in EU3, to simulate the independence that the kingdom of Aragon enjoyed within the Spanish union. However, the devs still want "Spain" to appear on the map, because "Castillian America" sounds strange to most people.

No. Because tech costs so many monarch points, and because monarch points are used for just about everything, it would be foolish to automate the process.

Thanks for your awnser!
As for Spain.. if you lead a Union with Aragon as Spain, is there still is a diplomatic way to "force" annextion (as it was added in DW I think?)
Edit : And for tech : As you say.. with mp being used for almost everything... it seems to me that it's very difficult to plan tech ahead.. i mean, plan ahead which tech you'll go for... Am I missing something here?

If you have over 190 relations and have had the PU for 50 years, you can use the 'integrate' action under 'dynastic actions' to annex them.

Kind of a moot point since as I understand it the latest Clausewitz engine (or something) doesn't support the "Castillian America" style map things.
