is there a demo of this game?

if not can you describe it to me in 10-20 words keeping in mind i am a hardcore HOI player and found vicky very good but a let down.

There's no demo.

Its somewhat like Vicky but without all the micromanagement of economy and population. More focus on war (not to the degree of HOI) and empire building.

I can describe it as: The best strategy game in the world.

(Basically is Victoria but without too much micromanagement and it's between 1419-1819)

Simple, Historical, like crack for egomaniacs who enjoy enslaving/'freeing' entire countries.... from themselves.

Very stable for multiplayer.
Wars are interesting.
Painting the map your colour is rewarding.
Historical events are good flavour.
