DEMO: Manual Trading WAD?

When I manually set a trade order, say buy Luxury Clothes to keep in my stockpile at least 3 units (or with the slider 3.050), it will buy the required amount and keep 3 in my stockpile. However, if I click on another good and go back to Luxury Clothes, the order has changed to something like .079 units. Am I missing something here? Shouldn't the maximum amount stay the same?

Did you also uncheck autotrade for that good and hit the confirm button? If yes to both the order should stay as you set it.

Well, various other same engine games have this peculiar feature. Various effects of slider changes don't take effect until the screen is closed. Basically, pause your game, do changes in one screen, close the screen and then unpause. This is to stop single click from being completely devastating

I'm not sure that is the issue. As I said it does buy to the requested stockpile amount. is there another mechanic going on that would reduce or change my maximum amount ordered?

Prestige?

If nations with higher prestige already buy most/all 'Luxury Clothes' you might not be able to crab the items before they're sold out.

It shouldn't move the slider, though.

Demo is pretty much the release version. Not getting this in mine, but then it's a slightly different version too.
