Tell Birken (whoever he/she/it is), he's a wizard!
He went to Hogwarts, so he bloody well should be.

Is Patron of the Arts going to give Culture in Gold?
Seems like a huge oversight not to.
Maybe not, but A) Patron of the Arts as it is now is useless and B) it's disturbing, to me, that it doesn't give CT.
Maybe they can give less CT from other things.
I got a 4* advisor at 99.5% tradition, and then a 6* advisor at 85%. So it looks like it's semi-random, but at 20% I only ever get 1*, so it's weighted towards the high end.
Is it my imagination, or has the stability hit for 'same religion' been removed?
I noticed as Castile and Austria that as long as I had a CB on a fellow Catholic (conquest, colonialisim, alliance) I could declare war on them for NO stability hit.
Quick question about heirs that I haven't seen asked or answered here:
Does the game track multiple heirs? I.e. once I have one heir is that it? If that heir dies am I doomed to a noble inheriting, PU, etc. or is there a "second son" waiting in the wings?
Did anyone see my post about the quirk with the introduction of culverins, pedreros, and chambered demi cannons? Like how they're introduced at Land Tech 13 along with LK inf?
It will also restore some of the luster taken away from republics by the new royal marriage system, as getting stuck with a 4 administration king for 30 years will sting more than ever.
Ouch! So much for colonizationWill force me to conquer Scotland and Ireland just to get my cores up so I can have more than 15 colonial cities at a time. Or just populate my empire with rebel whack a mole armies.
So conquering China doesn't overextend me but conquering my European neighbour does?
Thinking about it further - I think Doomdark should take out the HRE option of the Emperor asking for religious conversion. That's a nobrainer. HRE members of recent religious domination tended on defending their faith, not agreeing to convert against the will of their populations.
Well it maybe sorted out when full game is released.
The one thing about EUIII Complete that annoyed me: the composition of the hireable guys in my Court fluctuates in a semi-random pattern. Sometimes a level 6 or 8 guy would flicker in there for one day!
The only way I could see to be aware that these guys were passing through court and hire them when the opportunity arose was to keep the Hire New Advisor window open and hold the cursor over the pause button, trying to quick reflex pause it when I saw the composition shift.
Just started a demo game as Castille, and cannot yet replace any of my advisors, so I don't know if this is changed or not, but I did not see any new/alternate messages types to list as pausepopup.
I would think that in reality, if a Monarch wanted to be made aware that a highly-qualified advisor was in town he would (with some degree of certainty, depending on how much infighting and scheming there was with his existing advisors) be able to be notified.
