Do you find yourself short on cultural tradition when not at war? If anything it might be too easy to get. Sure if CT was to come from a NI PotA would be the place to put it, but I don't think it's needed.

Maybe not, but A) Patron of the Arts as it is now is useless and B) it's disturbing, to me, that it doesn't give CT.
Maybe they can give less CT from other things.

War exhaustion seems to accrue a bit too fast in this version. Might need to tone down the numbers a bit given the higher lethality of combat.

The higher revolt risk resulting from war exhaustion seems somewhat counterbalanced by the reduction of revolt risk that legitimacy provides (well, for monarchies).
I played with Austira. In the first month, 12 countries offered me a royal marriage!!! It's a little bit irreal.
I married with Bavaria, and I claimed the bavarian throne, becouse they had no heir. I defeated them, and made a PU with them. One problem: the bavarian king was alive during the war!!! After 4 month I married with them, I became their king! In Europe, this is irreal. AND: Friedrich V, my king, became the bavarian king in april. The text said: "when the current ruler dies: a bavarian noble rises to the throne." In may, Friedrich V died, and Ladislaus I became my king. BUT the bavarian king was still Friedrich V!!! And the PU was still alive! The text said: "when the current ruler dies: Bavaria gets inherited by Austria".
I played on very easy, but within 15 years, I vassalised or conquered almost whole Germany, defeated almost everybody except the BigBlueBlob. My badboy became very high, and all the nations which I have borders, attacked me (except France, fortunately, they had a regeny council! ) Austria in 1492 is very overpowered! They have the biggest army in the world in the start! Between 1485 and 1490, Hungary conquered Wien, Ostmarch and Steirmark, and Hungary has less then 10000 men, and Austria has almost 60000 men in the game! In the real history Hungary could defeat them, becouse their army was almost as big as the austrian army.
There are too many regency councils in the game. In the history, they were much more rare. And: countries with regency council could declare war! In the medieval, maybe not, but in the absolutism era, they could!
I'm very sad, becouse the colours in the diplomatic view are changed. I don't understand, why did you change these colours. The vassals and the alliances are the same colour. (I think, but I may be wrong. then: the colour are almost the same, and I can't decide, which country is my ally, and which is my vassal.)
And my 20000 infantry (full moral, prestige: 50) was defeated by 2000 horsemen in a battle against Venice! All my 20000 men were died! Even if the venetians had Kalashnikov, and my army had nothing, the huge army could have defeated them!
In my another game, Bavaria conquered 5 provinces, and their prestige became 100. Too much in such a short time.

I used cheats to try out the new functions in the game within the demo's time limit.
Maybe Freidrich V abdicated as king of Austria in favor of his son in order to secure the Bavarian throne. There are plenty of ways to roleplay something like this happening.
I don't think this option is included in the game.
And: Friedrich V was born in 1415. In the game, as the king of Bavaria, he died in 1518... In the same day, when his son, Ladislaus I died.

I really think there should be a limit how many royal marriages you can have, for instance 5.
The new CB system can create big blobs: here the OE inherited Crimea, then launched a Jihad on Poland. Result:
Why is it useless? Unless you mean it's been useless the entire time? If anything it's slighty better since prestige gives legitmacy now and it's it helps when claiming a throne, plus there's some nice events that require it.
There should be some kind of mechanism where Ottomans can't inherit the Golden Horde. :rofl:

It's useless because warfare can easily provide you with all the prestige you need.
