Layout:

I'm happy to see you added the crown to the kings statue. but I still hope there will be multiple layouts to choose from someday.

the elves have the wrong color, a promise not kept...

I miss the Information/Lore on monsters and lairs.

Gameplay:

To my opinion the buildings, especially the guilds, are too vulnarable. It's far too easy to take out several high level heroes by destroying their guild.

The AI still needs some work. For example the heroes don't defend their homes(at least not with the apropriate priority like they did in M1). And I think buying healing potions should have a higher priority for level 1 heroes.

While forming parties, I couldn't find where the synergy boni were listed(are there still any?).

Don't get me wrong, the game is awsome ^^

I love everything about the game. Except that heroes just hide in the palace if their guild is taken out.

Two times now I could have beaten the mission, but as the bearmen come in they slowly start working their way through the city (though my heroes do fight them and level and start killing them ever so slightly faster) and as they start taking out guilds the problem becomes exponentially harder until it's to the point where it becomes impossible.

I don't recall heroes hiding in the palace if their guild is destroyed in Majesty and it's really frustrating because by making them hide you just don't have a chance of defending the city. Of all things, that is absolutely what I hate most.

I got totally destroyed on the second mission but thats just me :rofl: gotta wait for full version before i make my judgement.
Does anyone know how to rotate buildings so i can make my village prettier?

I was wondering about the rotation tooo ! but didnt figure it out

I don't recall heroes hiding in the palace if their guild is destroyed in Majesty...

They made their way to an Inn/Tavern and sulked a bit (which was to give you time to build another one) and when they emerged and there still wasn't a new guild to "attach" to, they went to your Palace and "disappeared".

Yup, they didn't wait in the palace, they completely left your kingdom(!).

I think we all prefer MFKS2 approach, no?

Wow. It's been a long time since I played Majesty since I can't run it on Vista or in widescreen. If what you guys say is true then, yeah, this way is better.

Having read over the lore section for the elves (be glad that you live in a time where it's the women who serve rather than the men), if they wanted to be lazy they could just fix it by slipping in the words "blue-skinned" in there somewhere - thus implying that skin colour is a feature that has sexual dimorphism for elves rather than one that has changed in the last 200-odd years.
