To start off.. Game seems great!

Anyone else notice your heir changing when a pretender gets jailed?

Playing as Harold I jailed sons 2 and 3 for plotting against me and no2 suddenly becomes my heir. When I later banish him it jumps to no3. When I banished the 3rd it jumped back to no1 (Harold has 5 so it chose no1 in lieu of num 4).
Later on now playing as the child of son no1.. (heirs are my uncles.. former sons 2-3-4 in that order on laws screen). I jail number 4 and he becomes heir. All these events happen same day as jail-banish.

Seeing as it happened several times it doesn`t look like a fluke.

OFF Topic. Captures Scot prince in battle (King`s bro) and ransom value is just 10 as he has no titles. Seems wrong. Anyone capture and actual King or his son and did it impact peace or war score. Just curious.

Off Off topic. Has anyone suggested a way to invite back banished folks other that basic invite option. At one point when son 1 died.. son 2 became heir and would have liked to un-banish as it were. I didn`t notice son 1`s wife was pregnant and had a child after his death. Game did make the child heir so that worked correctly as per laws(miss bird on portrait we had on ck1.. always seem to miss it in trait list now).

Cheers!

Maybe the scottish king was happy you had his brother in chains.

Not all family members would sell their own kingdoms to save a family member in ck2 remember.
Titles and power are everything.

What succession do you start with? If it's elective then it might be where the electors were shifting their votes that were changing the heir.

The scottish king had like 5 green pluses so he was happy to pay.. lol. I haven`t changed the laws. England starts with agnatic-primogeniture.
