Just recently bought CK and I was wondering if it is possible to mod the large demesne penalty. I know that, for instance, the Royal Post building seems to help alleviate, and that as you gain rank you can control more provinces effectively, but is there a file hidden somewhere where you can allow for larger demesnes without penalty or an event you can write to accomplish the same thing?

Thanks.

Well you could write or trigger an event to give you intrigue

Then you can just as well modify the game-file and give your ruler a larger intrigue :)

Well, for that matter, you could be the Byzantine Emperor. In my current game it's the end of 1208, and Emperor Isaakios Spartenos is starting to get worried about maxing out his 40-province demesne limit... ;D
