What factors affect the frequency of events that affect your demense. I'm talking about skeever infestations, trolls, theives guilds, and lycanthropes events.
Can disasters stack, or do they only fire once for each type. For example, can I have 2 theives guilds in the same province.Being over your demesne limit is a major trigger. The more you exceed the demesne limit, the worse it gets. Frequency increases with decreasing realm stewardship and wars. Good traits (think Zealous, Genius, Diligent) decrease the frequency of the events; bad traits (such as Slothful, Imbecile, Absent-Minded) increase the frequency of the events.
If you're Cult of Malacath and you get denounced as a "Weak Leader," that increases the frequency of province disasters by 50%. If you're Cult of Azura, the frequency of province disasters in your whole demesne is reduced by 50%. Individual provinces that are Cult of Azura also have disaster frequency of -50%.
There's other factors at work, but there's a lot of them so I can't really explain them all. For the most part, if you have a good ruler and you aren't over your demesne, you should be fine.

Okay, last question, if a province has every effect on it then that means it has 10% revolt risk. So if I force a peasant revolt to surender, does my nationl revolt risk go down by 4%, or does defeating a revolt reduce revolt risk more than that.Nope, they don't stack.

Thanks anyway. I was playing NK mode, and even though I could easily pay the money to prevent the effects, I was being spammed with like 2 messages every 3 days. I've ended NK mode now, as the high queen of argonia.I don't know about that one. I never have revolt problems in any of my games, thanks to very aggressive use of the Martial Law job action.![]()
