"be my vassal" when the other guy is on war (and everybody now how boring and large can be the AI wars....xD)
Ah I see. That would require some special events to work. It is not as straightforward as youre thinking, because other things are happening too. So lets say,
- You are at war, with "Country C",
- And I demand vassalisation of you + declare vassalisation war
- I win the vassalisation
- Now EITHER
- Your old war with country C ends, as you are no longer independent, the CB isnt valid.
- Your old war with country C CONTINUES under a "new war" - now Country C is fighting me for their old claims (if that CB are still valid).
- And war exhaustion for this new war is either
- War exhaustion is reset for me and Country C
- War exhaustion for me = what it was when I vassalised you and War exhaustion for country C = what it was in its war with you, when I vassalised you.
This is just one example, more rules would be needed for different combinations of CBs. If you just enable vassalisation with how the game works now, without creating extra rules/events, it would probably cause crashes or break the AI (being stuck in eternal war etc).
I DO think Paradox should do this though, as I agree with you, its stupid to have so many restrictions on wars, it leads to easy "blobbing" making it hard for many small nations to attack a big one at the same time.
