Sometimes when I'm at war and offer a peace I have the option to force my enemy to convert to my religion, but that option doesn't always appear. I remember one time with a protestant country and made Eire to convert to protestantism. Needless to say that I always get more than 95% in war points. The question is: what do I need to have the option to demand religious conversion? Thanks!!!

I'm not really an expert on the game, but it could be that you declared war on a country that is the same religion as you.

Not all religions can convert into one another - for example, Orthodox countries cannot be forceconverted; Pagans always can; other (non-Orthodox) types of Christians can convert each other, and Sunni and Shiite Muslims can convert each other; Christians cannot convert Muslims, and Muslims cannot convert Christians.

In cases where it is religiously possible, you must have at least a 70% warscore, and in the peace screen, you must click on the coat of arms to force the losing country to a seperate (not alliance) peace, even if they have no allies. Then the religious conversion option will be available.

Note that, if playing Spain or Portugal, you can take over Pagan countries in your TOT area by force-converting them to Catholic and then invading during peacetime.

I'm not sure, but I think you must also choose to make peace with the country on its own. I hope this makes sense...
