Just a dumping-ground for the various (mostly personal) mods that I create. You can find them on the Steam Workshop as well, under the same names.

Norman Mercenaries
Norman characters can now send their male relatives off to form mercenary bands. Requires Horse Lords DLC.

OP-atricians
Makes Republics even more powerful than they already are, with slight increases to city taxes and a decrease in the percentage of your wealth that male relatives get.

No Unlanded Sons Penalty
Removes the prestige penalty for having unlanded sons with succession types such as Primogeniture.

Female Ruler Improvements
Female rulers can now appoint women as councillors (Except for the court chaplain/equivalent, which is still based on religion). Ambitious women can enable Absolute Cognatic succession.

Thanks for the mods man, I have a question: I would like norse and celtic tribals to also have the option of sending their sons away as mercs, who would I be able to do that?

Tell me if this works for you. To more directly answer your question, all you need to do is add something like:

AND = {
government = tribal_government
OR = {
culture_group = north_germanic
culture_group = celtic
}
}

in the 'allow = { }' part of the decision, underneath where i've already added 'culture = norman'.

Thanks a lot delta, but it doesn't seem to be working right now. In fact it seems this new files disable the "send away as mercenary" option completely for some reason. I tried playing as both tribal and nomads and the decision wasn't there. When I disabled the mod it worked for nomads again.

Any idea what coud be wrong?

I took a look at the code, seems he was missing a bracket (a single bracket ruined the whole script...). Try this.

I tried anonemus modified version and it worked perfectly. Both tribal(germanic and celtic) and also feudal normans had the decision available. Thanks again!

One last question though: wil the AI take this decision sometimes? I didn't have time to see that happen yet.

In the mod I believe that I made it less likely for Norman characters to send their relatives off as merchandise compared to, say, steppe hordes. I don't believe that I remembered to put that in for your celtic and norse cultures, though, so they should be doing it roughly as often as the hordes do.
