Update
Yes, after some of the most heavy fighting I've ever seen in Hoi, It became clear that I was unable to contain the trapped germany army in Moskva, and instead found my own army trapped and isolated, and after a unsuccessful breakout attempt, I lost the entire group.
Thus, any posibility of a victory in the east was out of the question, and with my allies being on their kneas aswell, it was clear that no allied help would be coming to my aid, anytime soon, not ever most likly..
Thus negotiations for peace begun.
In aftertaught, I did some good..and some bad moves...the italian success in the caucasus, left me a bit shocked...as did the stunning jap with the ait of the german mtn divs, whole fronts collapsed far faster than I would have thought, and keep in mind I had my own mtn divs there aswell.
German air power was of course devastating, and left me with little chance of repelling their assaults, altough in general it proved to be a nuisance more than a direct threat to the health of my troops.
My only real blunder, was the loss of Leningrad, which was caused due to a heavy counterattack, that led astray, leading to an easy capture of the city, and the loss of the Leningrad HQ and armygroup, plus the poor finns...
In south, the destruction of caucasus, led to a huge loss in men, as most of the armies in that region was annhilated.
My armour, remained intact, until the end though ,and proved more than match for the germans, but the price of the heavy play around Moscow showed that I could not cope with the intense pressure that was put on me with the 3 way assault.
Lessons have been learned.
Good day
