Where did it go? Never come across a DOTF by any religion in about 8 playthroughs

It's still there. In my current game OPM Ferrera and 3PM Riga are the defenders of the catholic and protestant faiths respectively and have been for decades.

Maybe you dont have enough ducats for it to be available?

I think it's Prestige and not Legitimacy which matters for DOTF.

Had multiple opportunities to be DOF but never taken it and never seen the AI take it either. I think it needs a bit of a buff, also crusades getting buffed a bit would be nice (to for example keep the ottomans in check).
