defender of faith for the order of saint joan?

Im playing Orleans into France to get the "the militant order of saint joan" event and after it firing i realized that it might be nice for flavor to allow the country to have defender of faith even tho ur always lead by female rulers

That would be awesome! Shame it's so late in the dev cycle for the upcoming release but maybe we could have it for the next patch.

It should be open for female rulers in general TBH. Both Catherine of Aragon and Mary I used the title.

Honestly though, DotF should be a prestige decision thing, in the vein of Islam's "Adopt the title of Khalifa". No bearer of that title has ever acted like DotF does in the game, nor was it expected of them by Christian society at large. BUT, that's a whole other discussion!

i agree but that its not available for the order of saint Joan is almost a crime. gender had nothing to do with being a defender of faith afaik.
