No, I meant "Ottoman threat". You are not formally allied, but no one doubts that either of you would take advantage of the opportunity to backstab Spain and Austria if we were in a war.

As for BB, well he's out, isn't he? And whatever BB-Austria arrangement is clearly unstable, as they'll soon start squabbling over German provinces.

3 reasons for dow.

1 - dont like embargo
2 - dont like your alliance (too big)
3 - dont like your religion

demmands - lift of embargo and 1000 comtensation for lost earnings. Demmands will inrease though as soon as this war starts costing money. If you really drag it out then i may start asking for provs.

I was thinking in 2 generals OR 1general - 1 admiral OR 2 admirals per 20 years

I'd say a 4 4 4 as common. minimum as 2 2 2.

of course, historical leaders won't be deleted.

Then those random leaders would live 10-20 years (a session time usually)

discuss it. we would be using them in 1650, no random leaders after 1750

Sounds like a good idea, in principle. I wonder why in the 1650-1750 period only, though. It may not be entirely fair to countries like France that have excellent leaders in that period, because it would slightly reduce their edge. Otherwise I'm up for it. How'd you generate them random?

For how could Venice, probably the poorest player nation of the game, offset the largest trading nation in the world with pocket fluff! That would be a serious offence against the honourable (?) Spain is pleased that England chose a wiser policy. Venice should lift the embargo as soon as he deems practical. But the idea of 'compensations' is just preposterous. What was lost before England decided to make its (rough) request is just lost. It should have been asked sooner. Past is past. Let's get over it.
