well i assume that you decided to go without me till endgame, it was probably good idea taking into consideration that Prussia couldn't do much anymore, at least i took part in to annihilating at least 200k Russians on my own and more with leadership of Bonaparte even after i lost all my leaders
Nice game people. Too bad we had such a lack of players for the last sessions. But it was fun nonetheless.
Last war had Denmark first kicked heavy by nappy, and then when things looked good, Wellington crushed my main army. Then I couldn't do anything anymore, and was eventually completely overrun. Nelson and Cochrane kept things boring navally, with stupid stats.

venice and co attacked my fleet...i retreated from the baltic sea...welli was caught there and had to flee through prussia...sadly couldnt click fast enough...but he died saving prussia
few months later i destroyed 1000 venetian and danish ships in a big naval battle (though with big luck, i think)...i lost maybe 100

Aladar, i believe anti-nappy alliance lost because you were too passive. Of course passing mountains is not easy, but you gave me enough happy life to move troops to Prussia.

I only had a 4/5/4 leader and after you killed him i had but a 3/5/5 leader left. I never fully regained from the first battle with Bonaparte, whom i nearly killed after surprising 100.000 french under Bonarparte with 400.000 + some cannons.
When the war started i was low on manpower, and sending the armies against the uber french leaders meant i never got above 500.000 again.
First fleet of 1000+ were nearly completely destroyed by Wellington, 2nd fleet of 1500 ships won a few battles before it was destroyed by Cochrane.

Or as Bob said they should not be allowed. I must have lost over 3000 warships in the last 2 session, and i've hardly made a dint in the english fleet.
Despite a navalsupport of near 1200 Venice was unable to have any say at seas due to the overwhelming force of english admirals.
The only battle i won was 1200 warships vs. 500 english under Smith, and still only because 650 danish warships joined the battle.

yes, it's a shame that I wasn't there to send some troops to aid Wellington, i had at least 100 k in Prussia when I ctd and I was just going to use 57MP to rise more, with it I'm sure we could save Wellington

and about this uber Nelson thing, maybe it is good idea to have only random leaders in planning dad2. Now when Nelson comes to life all other admirals ending theirs instantly or soon after, it's kinda not just to have situation like that 2.9k vs 450 ship loses, it would be ok if it was because of superior players tactic but i saw first great naval battle Venice+ Netherlands vs England. No tactic used just raw hammerpower, same NT not so bad admiral on coalition side i assume, and what? annihilation...
Aladar, eu2 naval engine is stupid and normal situation when only one can say something. Either big fleet or Nelson.
Hence the need for random leaders in DaD2 and naval powers like Denmark, Venice and Japan to contest the large fleets that England are normally capable of wielding.
Had Denmark been the only nation in Scandiniavia they can be a real challange to the English, as can a Venice holding all italy and the medeterainian islands. The Ducth are ofcourse limited by their "normal" size, but in the endgame they could have gone 1000 ships over limit and still have plenty of cash i guess.

We played yesterday so brilliant until 50th minute, and then just organized defended. I hardly could expect that, and no single chance for Ibra. I was sure he`d score our poor defence.

What do i care, as usual the troops of Morten Olsen didn't even make the qualifying. Do bad the idiots who hired him thinks he needs a 3rd chance to qualify the danish team to an endgame.
Perhaps in 2012 we will once again be in the EC after our last appearence in 1992 when we won.

We`ve made best ever game for Russia, since it became Russia (not USSR). Thanks Hiddink, because we had greater players in 90, but not result.
Zhirkov is attacking left winger normally, but coz sucking defence, he is moved to left back. He is best in all three matches of Russia in EC-2008.
