Not only breaking a peace treaty will make you always lose 100 prestige in a DoW, it will also get you twice as much BB as you'd normally get in either kind of war (colonial or normal). I am not sure of this information, though (the BB part). Could someone confirm this?

Every DOW increasing BB rating and every DOW cost prestige.

DOW when peace treaty is still in place, is a very bad idea (unless it is one off conquest of some uncivilzed minor). I assume it works like DOW in HOI2 when dissent hit is much higher than usual. And of course size of attacked country matters. BB hit for attacking Great Power is much higher than attacking uncivilized minor.

And I guessing here only. If you attacking country with peace deal, and you annex it, BB is multipled by 2 of usual value. Please dont take that as 100% sure but often I noticed some sharp raise in BB when I annexed Tuaregs as France before colonisation of Africa is allowed [VIP]. Or perhaps its just me. :D

Too bad BB rating is hidden. It is hard to keep track of it (constantly turning console on and off), if you going BB route. ;)

Never done it. Makes it hard to confirm or deny.

Maybe I'll test it later. ;)
