Decision to form Romania as Wallachia not showing up when playing a CK2 to EU4 game

Hi guys!


Apologies if this is the wrong forum for this but I figured it was better to cross post here and to the CK2 forum to be safe. So on a whim I decided to see if it was possible to form Romania from a CK2 conversion. I converted a save as the king of wallachia but the option to form Romania didn’t show up in my decisions list. I decided to double check and when I play a regular EU4 game as wallachia the option is there. I was wondering if anybody could help.

One of the requirements for the decision to show up is:

normal_or_historical_nations = yes

My guess is that's what the problem is.

According to the following link, it seems all nation forming decisions are disabled in converted games

Probably. I have no experience editing save files.

If you are okay with making yourself a tiny mod, you could also edit the nation formation decisions the decisions folder of the game. Just remove the "normal_or_historical_nations = yes" live in any nation you want to form.
