Debating streaming this when it launches

I'd like to. Just gameplay vids etc. Never been really much of a streamer but, I think it would be fun. Anyone else planning on doing the same?

Nope. Don't have the equipment, patience, time or personality to do it well. And doing it badly is a terrible waste of time and money for a decent camera, microphone & etc.

Plus I'd rather focus on the game than faff about with all the extra distractions and nonsense.

I am planning on an approach more my speed and style, presenting basically a text-and-screenshot Let's Play. I don't have the means to record the game (I may barely be able to run it and that's no fun to watch) and I know nobody wants to hear my voice or see my ugly mug

I've definitely been thinking about buying a webcam just for this game.

Although in my case, it would be YouTube videos and not live. Slow Internet on my end.

If I go for it, I actually might even put out something before launch showing off how easy it is to make a mod with the beta.

I'm not going to stream, but I am going to do a Let's Play on my Youtube channel. Though likely it's not going to go up right away as no doubt I'll probably be pretty absorbed in just playing the game for the first week or two. Though I'm thinking I'm going to record it all anyway and just edit out any downtime and record a narration track for it.

I do think it was interesting that the Linux conference I went to three weeks ago primarily for professional reasons just happened to have a talk about what is apparently the most popular streaming package. (Open Broadcasting Software... available at https://obsproject.com/.) I had already been considering it, so definitely chose to attend that session.

I will be doing it from the beginning. I am also joining a community of streamers who are focusing on a noob help/tactics stream. I will be announcing all my streams in forums. Ingress007 at twitch if your interested in watching.

I think I've decided on both. Kinda kick off my own channel as it were. Just gotta remember not to go off the deep end like I've seen some streamers do lol.
