Did you read what i wrote ?
I just say that i don't want Paradox to start doing fantasy stuff.
I don't want Paradox to recede from history like this. Because if they do this ONE time that means that they can do it once again..
We're just telling that !

Did you read what he wrote? Clearly he supports the fantasy DLC, so just like you can tell Paradox not to keep doing it he can tell them to keep making more fantasy DLC. Honestly I wasn't the keen on the DLC but the elitist attitude of a number of people is making me consider buying multiple copies.

You're such a terrible guy. Why do you complain about people who disagree with that DLC ?
It's not like "if you don't want it don't buy it". I thinking more far than this. I complained about that DLC for the reason that if they take this as an habit it's not cool. We do like paradox for historical accuracy and things that could have happened. If they take this as habit .. making DLC about crazy unrealistic stuff INSTEAD of doing thing that are usualy asked, we can say that we are not agree with that.
So, it's our opinion, we can tell it to PARADOX, furthermore they listen to us, so we can try.
Don't be silly and try to understand everyone instead of threading this.

You make it sound as if every man available in the company have put everything aside to work on this small fantasy DLC. I am dead sure that they are working on this AND other DLCs that people want. Makes sense, yeah? No? I really feel like everyone just misunderstood and have begun assuming that they are "wasting" time by doing this when they could be doing something else, which is highly unlikely.

Well, the only thing that was possibly hurt is mediterranean faces DLC, which seemingly delayed to early 2013, while we have completed Aztec ones...

Please don't turn something as pure and beautiful as the Paradox Icons into just another E-Peen contest.

Maybe if you actually thought about what I was saying instead of responding with the typical cliche bandwagon ' oh its an e-peen thing' response you might actually learn something instead of just invoking some kind of misguided attempt to get 'props' from other forumites.

Paradox have said themselves that anyone who doesn't register their games could very well be a pirate considering the rampant nature of software piracy these days and this is the rationale behind locking their accounts out of the technical support and extended forums. Considering Paradox won't even offer technical support to such people I don't think they have 'soapbox' rights either in telling an entire forum how to act. For all I know that guy hasn't even bought the game that he's now complaining about people complaining about.

Do I think someone who has spent hundreds of dollars supporting this company deserves more of a say than someone who has potentially pirated the game? Most definitely. Each one of those little icons proves that a forumite has used their wallet to support Paradox in sustaining their company and continuing to make great games. If you can't understand that's nothing to do with e-peen then I don't even know what to say to you.

Buy the Paradox Development Studio if you want them to follow your every whim. It's that simple. But attacking the OP just because he disagrees with your opposition to Paradox's "habit" of releasing unhistorical contents is simply silly. He has that right too, you know. Why don't we all agree to disagree instead?

As for them developing an Aztec fantasy DLC, all I can say is, "meh".

I would support you (I dislike pirates as well) if this was an isolated incident on your part, but yesterday night you did the same thing to somebody who only had 5 icons. How many icons do I need before I get to talk in these forums? Should I not offer an opinion different then yours because you have a few more icons? I'm sorry but you don't get more right to voice an opinion based on how much you've spent.

It's just not a very good argument, it's comes off as condescending and elitist for one and it also makes it look you don't have a real point and have to hide behind distraction.

If you had bothered to actually read the OP you'll notice that he explicitly states he hasn't bought the game yet. So no I don't think he's a pirate. Do I like the OPs attitude? Not in the least bit. However that doesn't justify simply telling him his opinion doesn't matter simply because he doesn't have a few shiny icons. Also since my join date is earlier and my post count it more that means my opinion is more valid than yours.

I guess the more icons you have, the more elitist you become. He has more icons; therefore, he has MORE right to be heard! Woe is me, I only have two rows of icons. :( lololol

Considering you haven't even registered Crusader Kings 2 (or any non-free Paradox game for that matter) what makes you think that you have any authority regarding how to tell an entire forum to act?

This is the second time in a short period that you try to discredit people, purely based on the number of games they hav registered. Stop doing that.

There are plenty of threads where this issue, the Aztec dlc, has been discussed, so I am going to close this one.
