Agreed, the Devs often get a lot of shit from a small minority, and I for one do not think that is fair at all. Paradox is great

One question though: EU VIII ? EU 8 ? what are you talking about ? the expansions ?

They are not really that small anymore. They were when developing EU3 though.

EUIII is EU3, and VII would be Victoria 2, I'd imagine.

I'll echo that Sentiment. I discovered Paradox with Hearts of Iron II, and i've been continually blown away one game after another. I know the recent Sword of the Stars II fiasco is bringing a lot of flak down on Paradox, but anyone educated on the situation hopefully won't blame Paradox for that one.

I have to give credit for Paradox for being transparent with their development processes. They are the only publisher which I am willing to pay full price for games because of the acknowledgement that they have worked hard on their projects.

I will admit to having an Impulse "shelf" with nothing but Paradox in it, plus the original SotS.

Yeah, I think the last time I played a game other than a Paradox Game, a mod (for RTW/M2TW) or an indie game (including minecraft as an indie game) was over a year and a half ago.

That's how awesome you guys and your games are.

I play my share of other games, but nothing has this kind of replay value - and even when the base game finally gets tiresome, these forums have an amazing modding community. Seriously, great job. Especially on EU3, IMO, though it's not like your other games are bad.

Having just received some *awesome* feedback on an OT project of my own, I can easily say that good feedback like this is motivational, and I'm only too pleased to be able to add my own "thank-you" to all at Paradox for the pleasure they've given me.
