You don't have the game CK2 registered, and so you can't access certain CK2 sub-forums, one of which is the User Modifications. If you have the game CK2, register it on the forums.

You should have gotten a code when you bought the game (likely called "CD Key" or something similar). Enter it in the "MyGames" tab above.

At the time of posting, I think I remember it saying "e-mail not verified". So perhaps it will be working by now.

You need to register your game. And it must be the base game; the expansions aren't enough.

Sounds strange and might very well be a bug. Unless it isn't the same mod forum you now try to access as the one you had access to previously. For new games (published after ~2007) the mod forums are hidden and locked for everybody who hasn't registered that particular game. That is an anti piracy measure. Paradox has decided that instead of having DRM in their games they rather want to focus the piracy fighting on the forums; if things like bug reports, tech support, and mods weren't locked Paradox games couldn't be completely DRM free.

I bought the game from steam and could just get on and get mods. Now i have to go through bueracratic b.s. just to see the damn things -__________- the hell.

Go to the steam library and find the page for your game. Then find the CD key---it is on the right. Copy that and go to 'register a game' here on the forums; then use the CD key to register your game. You should now have access to mods. Otherwise mods should also be available in the workshop.

As mentioned it is an anti piracy measure that people who haven't registered the game cannot see mods; would you rather that the games were DRM heavy? As of now there is 0 DRMin them. You could literally take the game files and move them outside the steam folder and the game would run without a problem.

You are sure you tried the CD key and not the steam key? And that you tried register under the right game; for instance tried the base game and not expansions?

The people at the helpdesk actually are nice people who respond rather fast. And if you actually tried registering your CD key the correct place and it didn't work then you will need support. Are you sure you don't have an older account with the game registered on?
