Hearts of Iron 4 has always been a buggy game, but this last DLC certainly takes the crown. While it has less bugs than version 1.10.1 it's not nearly as polished as it should be.
I fear adding another layer of new game mechanics after Barbarossa comes out will only make it worse. So please, work on another bug fixing patch before Barbarossa.

And that's not even mentioning the small things like this:
Or this:
I had a historical game as Canada, so my intervence was minimal, and moved to defend Greece. Greece lost because Bulgaria demanded territory and Greece accepted. While Bulgaria was part of the Axis and Greece part of the Allies. And they were at war with each other.
When playing Yugoslavia and going for Limited-Self government, I noticed the regions I grant autonomy to (only to take them back after 1 year or so and magically fix all of Yugoslavia's problems because logic, but this is more of a design error than bug) will magically lose their factories.
When playing USSR, the Allies used collaboration governments of former Axis members to create a true border gore in Europe. It usually doesn't take in-land territory it has no land connection to, but this rule doesn't seem to apply for their own collaboration governments.
We have been promised Corneliu Zelea Codreanu so maybe the devs are planning us a secret Christmas patch that would fix all of this. Fat chance but it's a nice thought, realistically, I think Paradox took a break like almost everyone this time of the year. But after the new year, I hope you will fix further the current patch before moving fully to Barbarossa.
After a suprising amount of support on this topic, I came to believe I'm not the only one wishing for a fix patch before moving on. But there is only one way to show what the community wants because I can't speak for everybody. To actually have the community show that they agree with open letter-ish. If you agree, please drop a like or agree and possibly link a topic to a bug that bothers you a lot. The devs can't hunt all bugs but they can hunt those in the spotlight. Hopefully, if a lot of people show that they want an extra bug fixing patch, the devs may consider it.

There are big expectations around Barbarossa and I bet the developers want to make something big. But please, make sure you build Barbarossa on a solid foundation. The current version is full of bugs and unless you fix most of these before Barbarossa, the only direction the number of bugs can go after Barbarossa is up.

My supervised German Republic just gave away my cores to supervised Bulgaria
Ruining my ironman game. You can even see I took Burgas for meself, but Brits got Bulgaria as supervised. And couple days later this happens. Just...wow...
