I did the Grand Tournament decision with one of my kings; it lasted five years and killed at least two dozen of my vassals; and, strangely enough, it didn't end when I declared war on a caliphate. Normally, my tournaments last a few months and kill a few guys to none, and they've always ended after the beginning of a war for me ... at least, I thought....
