Hi, I ran into a problem as the King of Hungary, I have many vassal counts in Hungary, but I have no existing duchies tied to them, so effectively I am their liege as King, not Duke. I became the Holy Roman Emperor so all of Hungary was included into the Empire. When I died, a new Emperor was elected, I went back to being Hungary. Unfortunately, I lost all of my count vassals in de jure Hungary, even though I still held the Kingdom of Hungary title. They all went to the Kaiser, which supports my theory that Counts are vassal to either dukes or top tier liege, regardless if he/she is King of Emperor. I think this needs to be looked into.
