The de-jure CB bug:
Currently on 2.6.1.1 there is a bug where a vassal duke can't declare a de-jure CB
on a vassal single-county count of the same top liege.
Example : Duke of Champage in 1066 can't war for count of Sens.
Elaboration. It is possible to declare on a multi-county count or a duke.

Question:
Doesn't that actually make somewhat sense even without middle crown authority or realm-peace ?

Why do i say 'somewhat' ?
The idea is that even if the king has not much authority, then shouldn't it still be with consequences
that a vassal to the king is taken forcefully and made a subvassal by another vassal to the king ?

Wouldn't some consequences make sense, even if it only results in a negative opinion modifier as "grabbed my direct vassal" or such ?
Such a direct modifier would also easily fit all cultures/religions and hiearchies i think.

Sub-question:
Though shouldn't we as duke in this scenario be able to ask our liege directly (diplo or dec.) to transfer that vassal to us,
as it is our rightful land/vassal ?

These might be more questions to the true historians in this forum, with regard to hierarchy of vassals
and the importance of direct vassalage to the top liege/king/emperor, but nevertheless...

What do you think ?
(also apart of the historical plausibility)

There is an event where a vassal asks you to give him one of his de-jure vassals.

I've always seen it while being the liege. It would be cool if as vassal we could fire it. Either with an intrigue decision or a targeted decision.

Thanks for sharing that. I've ran into the same situation myself and been looking for why the heck it isn't possible (e.g. holder of duchy of navarra can't attack najera).

That was my idea for posting the sub-question indeed.
I was rather convinced that it had been possible once, but in all patches i checked (down to 1.111) that wasn't the case, which surprised me a bit.

Probably caused by another bug fix
