dds files for events

For some reason, I can't edit the .dds files used for events with Photoshop. The size must be multiple of 4, soI can never save the changes. Nor can I make new event pictures using the other one's size.

How do you all people make event pictures in .dds format? Do you use a conversor?

I have it. I tried, I think, all the options. Still, saving it in the same format than the original, that should work! And yet, it doesn't.

Save it in 8.8.8.8, ARGB, 32 bpp, unsigned.

If none of the previous suggestions are of any help, try using paint.NET for editing the .DDS's, it's easy and simple to use.

For the .dds format you need also to use the DXT5 compression and to generate mipmaps. I use Gimp but the plug-in must be quite similar.

My God, and I used to save .dds files for Mount & Blade just as easy as clicking the save button...
