So what you are saying is that the old versions aren't fun to play? So has the game improved? Or was it never fun?

(BTW, ironman and achievements are available in earlier versions. Not sure if you were aware or asking for it.)

Finally, a commoner joins the Paradox nobility. Their legitimacy will suffer for this but there will be less revolt risk.

To me, Wiz feels like a commoner as he was the authour for CK2+, a mod which he shared to the community here on the forums before joining Paradox. There was a time when each big thread issue with CK2 in the foum was oftenly responded by "CK2+ fixes it," or "go and play CK2+". Doomdark too was an old modder, by the way.

I'd rather Paradox concentrate on single player game balance and making the game FUN again, instead of caring about some kid that can find exploits that do not affect me. All they seem to care about these days is MP exploit fixing.

More loss of fun after each patch, cannot expand my nation in single player due to multiplayer people complaining, cannot explore the planet anymore using ships due to... I have no idea... still so many ai issues, but they do not care because they only play MP and see youtubers.

EU4 used to be fun, until 3-4 months after release, then the game balance for MP only and the pointless exploits from youtubers that is forced on single player users has ruined everything. Guess I have to just hope HOI is fun on release, I have given up on EU.

Sorry, but you have obviously don't know what QA is. Quality Assurance testing has nothing to do with designing the game and everything to do with making sure the game AS DESIGNED works. Basically QA is all about taking the game and trying to break it, which DDR Jake has shown time and again is his specialty. It has nothing to do with those dang youtube kids and their MP obsessions. The person you want to complain to is Wiz: he is in charge of game balancing and whatever it is that will make the game fun for you.

This reminds me of the complaints people have from time to time about the art department at PI (or art DLCs). Devs make the game, artists make the art, QA tests it. Things that artists and QA people do =/ taking time away from game development or making changes to how the game works.

It's more likely that people will blame him for all future balancing, even though QA has little/no influence on those decisions I'd wager.

I'd agree with you on the grounds that it only applies to being a minor power, but playing as a major or medium power with self-imposed rules is getting to be fun.
