Aren't Dhimmi the Christian provinces of a Muslim state? If so then I wonder if them not asking for land now means that the Ottos again will start aggressively converting the Balkans.Something to read, in case you doesn't have twitter

So Muslim Balkans in 1500 won't make a return? The AI doesn't convert land they have 1+ tolerance to in most cases.

By the way will the AI still give provinces to the Dhimmi estate? It's unlikely.

just seen at least one province getting converted, previous Hungarian... the rest not so much it seemsMost cases? I've never seen an exception. The only time it converts is when legitimacy tanks enough to go 0 or less tolerance.
The AI, from my observations (client state republics that have humanism), will convert at exactly 0 tolerance. It will not convert with any value > 0 that I've seen. Presumably this is to manipulate Ottoman + Indian sultanate conversions into not happening in most cases, but it's still vexing because these AIs often flounder when not taking humanist. Worst is when they take religious but still don't convert.
Nope. There may or may not be Irishmen involved though.

Honestly, I'm against gold mine depletion being up to RNKanye, even at higher levels. I get that it's there to keep you from making super profitable mines that will make you ungodly amounts of cash, but it essentially makes gold mines into a dip point sink.
I think that instead of cutting the money you make, it should cut the production development so that it doesn't become prohibitively expensive to get the mine up to working form again.
Is the chance same for Natives? It would be sad to get depletion before westernizing and never see the benefit of having gold.It... does. Depletion halves the production in the province.

And why should it be easier to develop a gold mine after depletion? depletion is the lack of gold in the mine, which means lack of benefit from developing it in reality... After a mine goes empty, it doesn´t get any easier to expand it...I think that instead of cutting the money you make, it should cut the production development so that it doesn't become prohibitively expensive to get the mine up to working form again.

Honestly, there should be a chance to struck a new vein and a chance or opportunity to change the good... Every point invested could have the off-chance of finding other minerals or a new vein of gold
It has happened from time to time, that another vein was discovered... Also, remember in Vicky 2 that provinces suddenly discovered gold... But that´s a whole other system...I like that proposition. Upon increasing productivity in a province, there is a small chance to rediscover a new vein for a depleted gold mine.
