I'm sorry to say it but the DD # 17 was the most disgusting thing I've read on this forum so far (and it's been a few years). What is the purpose of these so called features described there ? Do you really have to include detailed descriptions of cats, cats and cats and the mechanisms to inflict them into this game ? And please, don't tell me about historical accuracy. Gaming is about fun, not accuracy. If you really think that cats and cats NPCs, engaging in cats and cats is fun then you should take a cold hard look at yourselves.
Anyway after this DD count me out of this DLC. I wonder if I will be able to have any fun from playing CK2 in the future as well. Thank you for this, really, thank you...

You are going to avoid this expansion, and possibly CK2 in n the future, all because one miniature flavour feature which will barely even affect your gameplay?
Ok.

This post is an obvious parody of this post. I don't think that he really will avoid the dlc because of cats. He's just making fun of the guy who started the post I've linked. That said, I’m disgusted that cats (spawn of Satan) get their own dlc, but dogs (humans best friends and the only protectors from evil cats) only get like, one event. OMG Paradox! Meme much?

We had DD's about torture (including horrendous sound effects for various methods), executions (31 unique methods, also including horrendous sound effects) and many various diseases and symptoms.
Yet, you consider cats to be disgusting.
Sounds about right. :D

hop... I missed it then. nothing on catnibalism tho... too bad

that said, what's described in this DD merely represents 2 event chains... (twice more than for dogs, which is completely legit since cats are the true protectors of humans, not just their servants ^^)

Torture is fun and human flesh is delicious. So nothing wrong here. Cats, on the other hand, are pure evil. We need to protect our children before it will be to late to save them from the “claw” of Satan.

They might think that the more DD they make, the more intrigued we are - however there can only be a limit to major improvements and features, so if one expects too much, you are easily disappointed by DD#36, in which it is described how a button has been moved underneath another button...
Some might find the DD's good fun, and it seems that many users get exited just whenever a Paradox member sneezes.

I personally think that the DD's sometimes get too thin, or just too "secret", where not much is really presented, or they simply talk about things not really regarded the DLC. Of course Paradox can post these things, but I myself, perhaps others too, expects more, (simply because there also are DD's where many cool new features are described or shown) so we get disappointed at these thinner ones.
I could live with lesser DD's, if they added more content - but as long as Paradox wants to keep the DD's include every bit of information thinkable, and many likes that, some will simply be "stuck" in the middle of the heavier DD's and the lighter ones... Not much to do sadly
