DC: Black or missing ship captain portraits

In Designer's Cut, anyone besides me seeing occasional all-black ship captain portraits where the captains' portraits are displayed at the bottom of the strategic view? And when you click on the captain the portrait is just missing on the page that comes up? This has happened on two different machines.

I've noticed it as well. I thought it had something to do with the campaign being started before I installed DC. I haven't tried a new campaign to test that theory though.

I wondered if it wasn't so we could put our own pics in. It says something like "captians pic here". Confusing.
