An interesting feature for future consideration, in my opinion, would be to lengthen a game day and introduce a day/night cycle. The day cycle would remain pretty much how it is already however it in the night cycle passenger numbers would drop, so there will not be as many waiting for transportation but they will still be people to move around throughout the night - people going to clubs/pubs, people who work at nighttime, people needing to get to the airport for early flights.

Obviously with fewer passenger numbers the daytime service will be useless. What I would propose would be hours of operation. An ingame clock for instance. You continue to build lines as you do, but you can set the hours the lines operate. So Metro Line A, which operates 15 trains would be set to operate 7am-7pm. Then you set route for exactly the same line (Metro line A(N)* N for night bus) which would have to be 7pm - 7am, which uses only 5 trains.

The cycle continues in that way. You wouldn't have to stop Line A for the night and start A(N) as the computer would do it itself as per your hours of operation.

The same would apply for buses/trams/ect..

I think game would have to be redesigned from ground up to support something like this. Since everything is based on daily "turns" now.
