So do anyone know at what time the game will be released? I would hate to stay up late on Monday night, only to discover that the download wont begin until the morning. Pre ordered on steam btw.

I think gamersgate usually release their games 9am GMT ish.
I would guess steam is slower but obv idk. I dont use steam for paradox games nemore because they have, in the past, been very slow to patch the games compared to gamersgate.

If you go on the steam store page for CK2 it says how long until it unlocks, which from what I remember, works out as 7pm GMT on the 14th
Steam usually releases new games at 10am PST. Looking at the store page, seems like that holds true for CK2.
yeah Steam always releases at European evening times. So you should not stay up on Monday. 
Ah, thanks alot. It sucks that it wont be released until 7pm tho. This makes me feel like a little kid on christmas, give me my present naow! hehe

GG is usually good about about releasing games early on release date, Steam is almost always not. I think Steam is based on US west coast time :[.
So long as GG is by 8AM EDT I'm all set. From the sounds of things, I'll be late to the party. Day off ftw!
can someone tell me the absolute earliest place to get CK2, I am in new zealand and we will see the 14th earlier then most, if i'd have to wait till the 15th to play i'd cry, literally.

GG usally unlocks at 5 AM my time. So ill leave dling when i go to work (7AM) then when i get back i play until eyes bleed
I have no idea when GG will release it, I can say that as someone on the US East Coast I'm always impressed by how fast GamersGate puts their games up, Vicky 2 definitely came out in the early AM hours of its release day and I was able to stay up late and play it that night.
Just found out today that work is sending me away on Sunday. I'll be away for a couple of months without my own internet... no chance to download. Oh well, I guess I'll have to wait a while longer Bring on April...
