Dont care about flying aircraft carriers being impractical like USS Macon (ZRS-5), will implement them in any case as interwar unit for USA :D if only I could make a true flying aircraft carrier .......

Yes I am also thinking of speed , because I already reduced 1914 inf speed to 4(common you will tell me that 1942 inf with all the trucks moves at the same speed as 1914 inf....no :D ) , to kind of simulate that WW1 wasnt as fast as WW2, maybe give 40 day Schlieffen plan plan movement bonuss to simulate that everyone was rushing for the victory

And Special units , well I could make them immobile and through events move forward along frontlines(control = { province = x data = U08 } = unit has been moved :D ) so AI wouldnt panic , for example German one would do so to speak a dissident(-1) attack on France, French player attacking and taking the province would destroy them just like a garrison unit would be destroyed.

Does it sound good ? :D

Since WW1 isn't won quickly by infantry alone in-game wise, having them a boost with those trains will work.
For special units, let's see for that one. I'm curious of that putting it in gameplay. Overall, I like it.

So and update of my progress.
With my this weeks theme of making First World War more ''enjoyable'' experience(I have no idea how to say it without irony) and seeing that my mod is centered around extending WW1 to 1919 and adding huge selection of events for CP aftermath, I made couple of events for UK , here is a tease of some.

New unit for Mittelafrika and Germany(replacing their colonial militia ones in Afrika).After some thought I have decided that Freistaat Mittelafrika will not be able to build regular infantry but rather their own special infantry - Schutztruppe

Here is their written down description
Schutztruppe is the African colonial armed force of Imperial Germany created in the late 19th century, when Germany established it by an act of the Reichstag on 22 March 1891. It formed a third military branch alongside the army and the navy. Similar to other colonial forces, the Schutztruppe consists of volunteer European commissioned and non-commissioned officers, medical and veterinary officers. Most enlisted ranks were generally recruited locally from tribal or other groups that had long established martial traditions, also occasionally ranks were made up from mercenaries recruited outside the territories of the colonial provinces. The advantages of Schutztruppe in colonial warfare were several – they had familiarity with local terrain, language and culture, thus being more effective fighting force in Africa than regular infantrymen.

Yes I would appreciate the help .......for now my mod is heading towards same premise that Kaiserreich team set , that in 1920-1921 Germany intervened on behalf of White army to help them defeat Red forces , seeing that France and Britain would soon fall under the Red banners they didnt want to be surrounded by the red threat. If you are willing you can help in writing events in regards of rebuilding industry (seeing that much of Russian industrial regions are now under German control, like Baltics, Ukraine and homeland is ravaged by civil war , they would need to rebuild much of what was destroyed ) .... also I must say that I am mostly concentrating on events during world war 1 and its extended period to 1919 for France and 1921 for Uk for now , and if you have ideas regarding those countries they would be really appreciated.

You could help me with ministers who would run in Democratic Russia after their civil war , because tag wouldnt change for them , I would at least know which ministers would disapear, because I havent touched Russia in my mod yet, you could just open their db and give me a list of who would be set to sleep , the same goes for tech teams

Having an airship aircraft carrier has been a very long dream of mine! If you can properly implement it, then fantastic...! I spent some time calculating how much weight-power would two closely linked airships have. And also, would having solar panels (from 1970s) on the landing strip surface give any significant energy as mentioned in the article :). In the end I didn't find how could DH Aircraft model have an operational Carrier aircraft brigade. So this airship should probably have a very long cannon (but aircrafts don't have distance in their combat calculations... and in close rang Airship Aircraft Carrier should be an easy kill) or it could be a navy ship model, with sprite of an airship, operating only over water. However, then submarines might attack it, and that is absurd.

What I had in mind was a Nazis-in-Antarctica mod, with Airship giving supply functions in story background and also Airship Aircraft Carriers operating in long range and allowing Nazi air forces to attack USA mainland, safe from navy and Airship Carriers being in safe distances from Allied air defenses. But all that was undoable :).

If you find a way... then its great!

Having an airship aircraft carrier has been a very long dream of mine! If you can properly implement it, then fantastic...! I spent some time calculating how much weight-power would two closely linked airships have. And also, would having solar panels (from 1970s) on the landing strip surface give any significant energy as mentioned in the article :). In the end I didn't find how could DH Aircraft model have an operational Carrier aircraft brigade. So this airship should probably have a very long cannon (but aircrafts don't have distance in their combat calculations... and in close rang Airship Aircraft Carrier should be an easy kill) or it could be a navy ship model, with sprite of an airship, operating only over water. However, then submarines might attack it, and that is absurd.

What I had in mind was a Nazis-in-Antarctica mod, with Airship giving supply functions in story background and also Airship Aircraft Carriers operating in long range and allowing Nazi air forces to attack USA mainland, safe from navy and Airship Carriers being in safe distances from Allied air defenses. But all that was undoable :).

If you find a way... then its great!

For now I guess it will be Zeppelin with brigade attachment

You have just increased my interest in your mod by adding airships!
Originally I wanted some for my mod too, I was going to use them like flying aircraft carriers and reconnaissance craft.
Somehow modifying the regular aircraft carrier unit in the game to act like a aircraft and land at airfields.
Then do the same with destroyers, having them used as scout airships

I don't think that you should add crazy zeppelin trees. They fell out of use for a reason, it's super easy to shoot down a huge bulky floating target.

Well about Zeppelins in my mod , they will at first be some what usable till 1915-1916s with all the bombing campaigns and terror that it brought, with the rise of interceptros it will be fairly easy to shoot them down later...about later periods well that is still under consideration , I think I maybe will just add USS Macon (ZRS-5) as an event for USA seeing as that it was working airship carrier....and by the way regular naval based carriers also were easy to bomb if all the planes got destroyed and some naval bomber got close

Maybe Zeppelin Carriers will be just brigades for Larger Ships , that will add some bonuses, historically they were used for reconnaissance missions on high seas in interwar periods

There are already 3 event chains for Bombings of Liege, Antwerp and London and outcome is decided by chance , if successful bombing of London will do huge dissident hit to ENG player (being as one of the first attacks on UK mainland , and with the all propaganda stating that UK is winning war and it not being dirty, it would deal huge strike to morale of civilians, them realizing that they too are now combatants)

New unit for Mittelafrika and Germany(replacing their colonial militia ones in Afrika).After some thought I have decided that Freistaat Mittelafrika will not be able to build regular infantry but rather their own special infantry - Schutztruppe

Love the colour and focus of the mod in general, but practicality here is a real issue. The schutztruppe were formed around local whites (mainly German) occasionally reinforced by small contingents sent to or stranded in the area. This force was then bulked out as you suggest by local recruits, frequently from variously motivated minority tribal groups. But they were of their nature small units - mainly company sized though at times temporarily expanded to battalion strength and beyond. Thus, while the recruitment pool they drew on added to their effectivness it was also so limited that maintaining them as sizeable forces proved impossible for everyone but Lettow-Vorbeck - and even he wasn't able to field division size units.
